Restoring Rutland is a community group that collects and distributes information and resources.
The Rutland Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC #2) is part of the Rutland Regional Planning Commission. It is a crucial part of emergency preparedness in Rutland City. While this isn’t a group to be called on in an emergency, it is the primary forum through which various organizations and people involved in emergency response can meet and work together to prepare for emergencies. At the monthly meetings, which move from town to town throughout Rutland Country, table-top exercises are done to practice and discuss certain types of emergencies.
